2012-09-14 In the previous post were pictures of the visit to Sherbrooke Village. That was part of a Harley trip from PEI down to Liscomb, NS. The following day we rode East along the Southern Shore of NS to Canso and then North to home via the ferry again.

2012-09-13 On the Southern Shore of Nova Scotia is a live historic museum called Sherbrooke Village. My Flickr photoset of the same name has pictures I took during our visit there.

2012-09-02 A Harley trip around the South-West end of Nova Scotia had us stop for overnight in Yarmouth. Here we enjoyed the Firefighters Museum as shown in this online album: Fire Fighter’s Museum – Yarmouth
2012-09-01 The biggest motorcycle event in this region is the Wharf Rat Rally at Dibgy, NS. This photoset is from the Sep-2012 event.

2012-08-23 The Atlantic Airshow for 2012 was held at Summerside, PEI for the second year. It was a big event since it included the famous US Blue Angels as well as our own Snowbirds air-demonstration team.

2012-07-25 Another great Harley trip was to Grand Manan Island, NB. The ferry ride and the beautiful scenery on the Island was a treat. Here is the photoset:

2012-07-12 Part of another Harley trip was a visit to Peggy’s Cove, NS.
First we stopped at the Swiss Air memorial which is across the bay.

2012-07-11 While at a book signing in Dalvay I had time to explore some of this beautiful building. This shot taken last Feb-2012 shows the outside of this old Hotel. The woodwork inside was magnificent.
