Tampa Aquarium

2012-03-29    A visit to the Tampa Aquarium was an opportunity for some up-close wildlife shots.

The aquarium is right next to the Cruise ship terminal so its busy with crowds of boat tourists too. Lots of birds you can see up close.

Otters and other water creatures.

Some are cute but I think the alligator’s smile is not a friendly one.

Sharks seem to smile too, but again I’m glad there is heavy plexiglass.

From scary to colorful, thanks to some underwater lighting.

Even cleaning the fish tanks is entertaining.

At the end of the tunnel is this Octupus that stuck around long enough for me to take his photo.

Outside the Aquarium, wishing I had a Cruise ticket…well maybe not today.
