CWH Museum on Canada Day

2017-07-01 On Canada Day we rode from Sudbury to Burlington, ON in time to unpack and head out to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum near Hamilton. There was a planned event that would have the famous Lancaster do a fly-past in Ottawa for Canada Day. My hope was to arrive at the Museum in time to see the Lancaster return and land. We were in luck as I got photos of the Lancaster and B25 Mitchell roaring into the museum taxiway. Just in time to get put away in the museum hangar before the thunderstorm dumped a deluge of rain.
In this album called CWH_Museum_Canada-Day are some photos of some aircraft in the vast collection, although not much time was left in the day.
Also included in the album are some photos of our visit earlier in the week to the Bomber Command Museum in Nanton, AB on our way up to Calgary.
